Common questions
Common questions
The questions firms ask most often during setup and afterward.
The calculator isn’t showing up on our page
The most common causes are a website address that has not been approved yet, or a page served over http rather than https. Send the exact address of the page and LexSheet will confirm whether it is on the approved list.
A fee is wrong and I need it changed today
Your firm can change it directly. Open Calculator in the portal, edit the fee, preview it, and publish. The change takes effect immediately, at no charge.
My sign-in link stopped working
Sign-in links are single-use and expire. Request a new one from the sign-in page. Links should not be forwarded to a colleague; invite them from the portal instead, so their access is recorded separately and can be removed independently.
Can we change the figures LexSheet maintains?
No. Documentary stamps, intangible tax, the promulgated title premium and reissue schedules, and county recording fees are maintained by LexSheet and versioned, and are not editable at the firm level. If you believe one is incorrect, contact support.
Who sees an estimate a visitor runs?
No one. The calculation runs in the visitor’s own browser and is not transmitted. Their details reach LexSheet only if they request the estimate by email, and the inquiry is then delivered to your firm.
Contact support
A link to the page and a screenshot are usually enough to reproduce an issue.
